Ukrainian Dumplings with Garlic

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Dumplings vareniki, frozen or homemade
  • 4 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 50 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 bunch Dill fresh, cropped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black paper to taste

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Colander

Method
 

  1. Boil water. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook dumplings. Add dumplings and cook until they float (5–7 min frozen, 3–4 min fresh). Drain.
    500 g Dumplings
  3. Prepare garlic butter. In a frying pan, melt butter with oil. Add chopped garlic and sauté 1 min until fragrant.
    50 g Butter, 4 cloves Garlic
  4. Combine. Add dumplings to the pan and gently toss in garlic butter.
  5. Serve. Sprinkle with dill, season with salt and pepper, serve hot.
